BBA Major in Management

This 4-year course is designed to meet the challenges and requirements of business, Industry, Government and primarily to enhance competencies in organizing and managing a business or being employed in a reputable business firm and also to develop desirable qualities of leadership, social concern and moral values.

Mission

The program aims to produce competent graduates who are well trained on all facets of business, human relations and ethics to make them effective and efficient business leaders, entrepreneurs and office workers.


Vision

The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship envisions Bachelor in Business Administration to provide the country with world class and globally competitive professionals who are responsible and endowed with high sense of values and social concern for people and country.


Objectives

At the end of the four-year course, the student should be able to:

  • develop the right attitudes, competencies, and qualities for starting and managing small and medium enterprises;
  • know the intricacies and requirements of setting up and operating a small and medium enterprises;
  • make use of information technology in decision making competency;
  • demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, social responsibility and economic nationalism.

The Junior Managers Publication

The Junior Managers publication is the official student publication of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship of the College of Business PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila. It is an autonomous, pro student and pro people publication responsible to the needs of the academe and the community. It upholds the highest standards and ethics of journalism, function as a catalyst to tap the holistic development of the students by exposing them to the objective social realities and to the nationalistic perspective of issues, defend and assert the students and the people rights and welfare, contribute to the development of responsible and committed management and entrepreneurship student leaders and journalists.

OBJECTIVES:

To disseminate vital and relevant information that concerns the management ands entrepreneurship students and the university. To arouse and channel the students interests and talents into useful, productive, and relevant activities and endeavors. To serve as training ground for campus journalists, creative writers and student leaders of the university. To defend and assert  the students right and welfare. To uphold the standard and ethics of journalism. To serve as medium of the management and entrepreneurship students of PUP in voicing out their view. To advocate social consciousness and uphold the interest of the Filipino people. To actively participate in the activities of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) and other cause oriented groups without restriction from any sector. To develop an alternative education and research on Philippine Educational System and to participate in the struggle of other campus papers and the mainstream media for a free press.
